The Animals

I have always had a great interest in animals and have had cats, rabbits and dogs around me since I was little. I even had a cow namned Wilma, when Mom and Dad had been farming. I have also had a horse interest and got horebackriding and take care of horses for many years. But then I focused my remarks on dogs. In 1998 I bought me my first dog, an English Cocker spaniel named Dime. Actually, I would have a larger dog, an English Setter. But they had such an urge to hunt that it became a Cocker instead. I don't regret that I got him, he has been a wonderful dog to learn on. However, I would never like to have the fur care of a dog again, otherwise it might been another Cocker the family.

I had since then thought of to getting me another dog. But since I went to school and was young I shot it out in the future. I took the opportunity to take care of a variety of dogs (when their owners was away or at work) so Dime would have a friend. But the dream of an own dog lingered on.

Why a saluki?

2003 I saw a program on Animal Planet, which would bring ideas to my head, Breed All About It - Saluki. It was then I decided that this would be my next breed.

2008 it happened, I had the job and all the pieces were in place and the kennel Ibriz had puppies. I went there and then I decided for the wonderful Cahreraz. Dime was much less thrilled with my choice, but he has probably become accustomed to the idea by now. Thanks to Cahreraz I got to know lots of new people around the country. We go to so many dogshows I have time with and there we meet lots of like-minded dog interested wonderful people. I have not traveled as much as when I bought him, which is great.

The House

In the fall 2008 I bought me a house in Storvik where I feel comfortable and can express my other big interest: construction and design. It is in need of both major and minor construction. The garden is just lawn and then I bought the neighbouring land that is untamed since the 80s. There are lots after demolition of the house were pulled down in the 80s. And a very old apple tree. But it will be exciting to get to and have a large and lovely garden for me and my dogs. The neighbouring land I bought just to get some extra land for the dogs to run on. I hope in the future have the opportunity to get me another saluki (or two ...).

And after I wrote this, so it happened. In 2009 I bought my secound saluki. And there have been an adventure since...
